What is Chiropractic?

Our bodies do all they can to be well. They fight disease, heal injuries and just be as well as they can be. Sometimes things can go so seriously astray that only medical care can help.

However, many times a long term problem, that at first seems nothing serious, will keep grinding away until pain results. Back pain is a good example.

Mechanical problems in the spine can cause long term pain and disability and unless resolved will have a bad effect on your life. The medical system can offer pain killers or surgery with associated side effects. Chiropractic works with the body's own healing ability to resolve problems without drugs or surgery.

David Elliott trained at two chiropractic colleges. He has many techniques to resolve the pain problems that can be so debilitating.

Over the longer term he helps people to get well and stay well.

David’s background

David’s chiropractic career began in mid-life. His background is engineering and then quality assurance with pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Chiropractic has played a significant part in his life, initially with a persistent wrist problem that was resolved when a chiropractor worked on his neck and shoulder.

Later, he suffered a lumbar disc prolapse, where chiropractic care helped him to avoid surgery and recover with almost no after effects.

David obtained a Diploma in Human Systems from the University of Glamorgan and completed his Master’s degree in Chiropractic at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic. He is fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council and a member of the United Chiropractic Association.

What David likes
